MHS Boys Basketball Michael Appel. The MHS Boys Basketball team fell at Mason City Thursday 64-42 but bounced back last night with a 56 to 31 win over Fort Dodge. Coach Appel liked the energy his team played with.

Grundy Center Boys Basketball Brent Thoren. The Grundy Center Boys Basketball team improved to 5-0 overcoming a 13-point deficit in the 3rd quarter to beat East Marshall 72 to 65. Coach Thoren said the 3rd Quarter was when they got back in the game and really took control.

West Marshall Girls Basketball Cody Hackett. The West Marshall Girls Basketball team improved to 7-1 with a 60 to 18 win at South Hamilton. Coach Hackett said after a good week of practice the girls were ready to play.
