High School Softball Results
BCLUW edged North Tama 2-1 in a pitcher’s duel, while West Marshall shut out Nevada 8-0. Baxter outlasted Colo-NESCO 12-11 in a high-scoring thriller. Oelwein knocked off Class 2A No. 13 East Marshall 11-8, and DNH-AP defeated South Hardin 9-1. Hudson topped Grundy Center 8-3. In North Central Conference action, Class 3A No. 12 Clear Lake swept Iowa Falls-Alden, winning 11-2 and 12-0.

BCLUW outlasted North Tama 14-13 in nine innings. Baxter rolled past Colo-NESCO 12-0 in five innings. South Hardin continued its hot streak with a 5-0 shutout of Dike-New Hartford, extending its winning streak to seven games. Jesup defeated Gladbrook-Reinbeck 17-1. East Marshall rallied for a 9-8 victory over Oelwein in eight innings. Class 1A No. 6 St. Ansgar edged AGWSR 6-5. Clear Lake swept Iowa Falls-Alden by scores of 13-0 and 9-3, while Grundy Center blanked Hudson 5-0.

High school softball features a marquee matchup as Class 2A No. 13 East Marshall travels to West Marshall for a 7:30 p.m. first pitch. You can listen live on 92.9 FM and watch the game at KDAO.com. Colo-NESCO hosts BCLUW at 7 p.m., with live video coverage available on KDAO.com. Other games have Nevada traveling to Class 4A No. 14 Boone, Class 1A No. 1 Clarksville visiting North Tama at 5 p.m., and Grundy Center on the road at Hampton-Dumont-CAL.
