    High School Boys Golf

    Story City Sectional: Grundy Center 1st 297: Preston Martens 2nd 69. East Marshall Cody Weaver 1st 69 (Won 5 Hole Playoff vs Martens). West Marshall Hunter Polly 3rd 72. Grundy Center, Weaver and Polly advance to the District Meet at Pleasant Valley in Iowa City on Monday.

    Nashua Plainfield Sectional: BCLUW 1st 337. Bodie Butler Meet Medalist 81, Mason Martin 81. BCLUW will play in the District Meet at Mason City Tuesday.

    Area State Qualifiers

    Marshalltown Doubles Team Issac Benscoter/Jacob Theissen. They will play in Iowa City on May 21st.

    Grundy Center Tanner Laube won the Singles Title in Waterloo. He will play at Byrnes Park in Waterloo May 21st.

    High School Girls Basketball

    Long Time Dike New Hartford Girls Basketball Coach Bruce Dall resigned yesterday. Dall had been at Dike NH for 13 years compiling a record of 269-53 while winning 4 Straight 2A Titles.

    MHS Inner squad Game Friday Night at 6 PM.

    West Marshall Inner Squad Game Friday Night at 6 PM. Meet the team, see the new dugouts. Entry is a box of Granola Bars or Fruit Snacks. Also, a tailgate BBQ Meal will be served for a free will donation.

    West Marshall Girls Track Cynthia Hilleman. The West Marshall Girls track team will compete in a State Qualifying Meet at Dike today. Coach Hilleman said times and placing are important tonight.
