DESCRIPTION:“Making the Connection” Ag Tour Series \nThe third outing of the five-part ‘Making the Connection” series of ag tours continues on Thursday\, Sept. 4 and will take visitors to a Liscomb family farm and a specialty shop in Albion. All tours are free\, open to the public and begin on-site at 5:30 p.m. \nMosher Angus Farm will be the first stop on this evening’s tour. Meet three generations of the Mosher family and learn the story about their diversified crop and livestock operation that includes a cow-calf operation and breeding program. The Mosher farm is located on the edge of Liscomb at 201 North Street. \nThe evening will close with a visit to the Market Off Main at 105 N. Main Street in Albion. This unique store\, owned and operated by Christy Hibbs\, serves as a direct bridge that connects producers to consumers by specializing in locally grown and processed meats\, cheeses\, grains and other products not found in large\, retail grocery stores. \nPlease call the Marshall County Farm Bureau 641-753-6637 for transportation information and additional details.
