    “Trains, Planes and Automobiles”

    9-Noon: Pancake Breakfast at the Orphan Grain Train in the former Clemons Lutheran School Building

    10:30-Noon: Display of model airplanes on Clemons’ Main Street headed by Garry Brandenberg.

    Noon-1pm: Entries will be accepted for the “Ugliest Vehicle Contest.” Votes will be tallied around 3:30 or 4pm.

    Noon: Kids carnival going on around the community building. The concession stand at Gary Harding Park will be open. There will be various activities at several stations along Main Street during this time.

    2pm: At Gary Harding Park, a presentation by Denny Rehber, creator of “Grass Between the Rails,” a narrative of stories and songs about railroading in Iowa. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

    After the presentation: A mini tractor pull, family oriented games, contests and award prizes.
