1A#6 Gladbrook Reinbeck 61 North Mahaska 46: Gladbrook Reinbeck clinched their 3rd straight trip to State. The Rebels will play North Linn on Wednesday Morning at 1030 AM.

2A#7 Grundy Center 71 Northeast 62: Grundy Center is going back to State for the 2nd straight year. Grundy Center will play Unity Christian on Tuesday Night at 730 PM.

#1 Kirkwood 83 MCC 30: Tigers end at 13-17

Ellsworth 67 Iowa Lakes 54: Ellsworth will host NIACC in the Region 11 B Championship tonight at 5:30 PM.

Junior College Men’s Basketball

Ellsworth 86 Iowa Western 84 F/OT: Panthers now play at #3 Kirkwood in the Semifinal at 7 PM Wednesday.

West Marshall Girls Basketball Cody Hackett. The West Marshall Girls Basketball team will play #1 Mount Vernon in a 3A State Quarterfinal tonight at 5 PM. Coach Hackett said the Mustangs are an elite team.

West Marshall SR. Natalie Nichols. Senior Forward Natalie Nichols said the Trojans have great team chemistry.

GR SR. Guard Austen Mathern. Mathern made 4 three pointers in the Rebels win over North Mahaska on Saturday ending up with 14 points. Senior Austen Mathern said it’s great to be back at State.

Grundy Center SR. Forward Tiernan Vokes. The Grundy Center Boys Basketball team is heading back to State for the second straight year. SR. Tiernan Vokes said it’s a good feeling to be back at state.
