The Spartans Started The Game With 2 3 Pointers To Lead 6 To 0 But Then Would Be Held Without A Point The Rest Of The First Quarter Trailing 13 To 6 After 1 And Finally 17 To 6 Early In The Second Quarter. Nearing Halftime Grundy Center Made Their Move As Judd Jirovsky Hit Back To Back 3 Pointers To Pull The Spartans Back With In 5. 3rd Quarter Grundy Center Would Get Close But Not Be Able To Catch Treynor Trailing 37 To 34 After 3. In The 4th Quarter Grundy Center Would Finally Catch Treynor To Tie The Game On A Left Wing 3 Pointer By Brayden Davie At 37. Grundy Center Would Then Turn It Over 3 Straight Times With A Chance To Take The Lead. Treynor Leading 40 To 37 It Was Davie Again This Time Getting A 3 Point Play To Tie The Game At 40. Alec Lovely Who Was Tough To Stop All Day Would Put Treynor Up 42 To 40 Then Another Grundy Center Turnover Made It 44 To 40. Grundy Center Trailed Just 44 To 42 With 4 Minutes Left But Never Could Get Any Closer After Another Turnover Alec Lovely Would Convert A Layup And Get Fouled But He Would Miss The Free Throw Keeping The Lead At Just 6. Grundy Center Couldn’t Comeback One More Time As Treynor Pulled Away To Win 57 To 48. Grundy Center Finishes At 23-2.
